In November 2012 we head for Lukla, one of the most dangerous airport in the world. Our destination was the village Gokyo as well as the 5480 m high Renja La Pass. Our 14 days trek took us through Solu Khumbu and the Gokyo Valley to the Gokyo Lakes and back through the Thame Valley. The most exciting view from the 5300 m high Gokyo Ri offered us spectacular views to four 8000 m peaks:
Mount Cho Oyu, Mount Everest, Mount Lhotse and Mount Makalu
